It was another record breaking year for the 2025 Black Hills Stock Show & Rodeo Horse sale sponsored by Farm Credit Services of America.  Horse enthusiasts from across the Midwest packed the Kjerstad Event Center for the main kick off event of the 2025 BHSS.  There was a great lineup of horses from some of the top breeders, trainers, ropers and breeders in the nation in the sale.  Horses bred for speed, cow, arena and any other direction you would want to pursue.  The demand is definitely there for quality horses.

The top selling Mare at the 2025 BHSS Farm Credit Services of America Horse sale was lot 134, DTF Proudest Chick. This 2017 bay mare is an own daughter of Dash Ta Fame and out of a Special Effort bred mare, selling at $44,000.
